Three steps, and a person at each one.
From the first phone call to the closing table, there are three things that happen and three people who make them happen: Shana, Amanda, Alexandra.
What actually happens, in order.
Tell her what you found
Call or email with the boat or the RV — what it is, what it costs, where it is, and who is selling it. Two minutes on the phone usually settles what is worth applying for.
This is also the point to mention a closing date, a survey already booked, or a deposit already down. None of it is a problem; all of it is easier to work around early.
Apply on the secure portal
The application lives on OceanPoint Funding's own secure site, not on this one. The links here are hers — they carry her name into their system, so what arrives is her file rather than an anonymous one.
There are two separate links, one for boats and one for RVs. Use the one that matches what you are buying.
Get to the closing
Amanda Haddaway coordinates the closing and Alexandra Hart keeps the lending side moving, so the paperwork has a name attached to it at every stage rather than a queue.
Shana stays on the file throughout. Her mobile number does not change once the application is in.
What this site never asks you for
No income, no social security number, no bank details, no uploaded documents. Everything of that kind is handled on OceanPoint Funding’s secure portal, and the only thing this site does is take you there with her name attached. Please don’t email documents either — the portal exists for exactly that.
The things people ask on the first call.
Do you finance boats and RVs, or just one?
Both, and in roughly equal measure — it works out about 50/50 between the two. There is a separate application link for each.
Where do you lend?
Nationwide. Shana is based in Norfolk / Virginia Beach, Virginia, and works with boat brokers in every part of the country, so where you are buying is not the deciding factor.
Do I fill in a credit application on this website?
No — and that is deliberate. This site never collects a financial detail. The credit application is on OceanPoint Funding's own secure portal, which is where that information belongs, and the links on this site take you straight to it.
Who will I actually be dealing with?
Shana, first and throughout. Amanda Haddaway coordinates closings and Alexandra Hart is the marine lending assistant, so there are three people on your file and all of them have names.
Can you help with insurance as well?
Yes. Shana is also an appointed insurance agent with Global Marine, so the coverage on a boat or an RV can be arranged by the same person arranging the loan. A quote costs nothing and there is no obligation.
I sell boats or RVs. Can I send clients to you?
Please do. Shana works with boat brokers across the country, and this site exists partly so that there is somewhere to send a buyer that leads to a person rather than a switchboard. Call her directly or send a message from the contact page.
What does it cost to ask?
Nothing. A phone call is a phone call, and she would rather tell you early that something is not worth applying for than find out with you later.
You found it. Let’s get it financed.
Pick the application that matches what you are buying. Both open OceanPoint’s secure portal, and both arrive tagged to Shana.
Applications are taken on OceanPoint Funding’s secure site, not on this one — this page never asks for your financial details. All financing is subject to credit approval.
